How might we make homes more affordable and happier?

The focus on sociability builds on environmental sustainability and affordability to include conviviality. For a place to be livable, and occupants to be “happy,” our homes should have a low environmental footprint, be comfortable to live in, and affordable, as well as a place where residents have built social ties and connections.
